Publication of books is a major activity of the Academy. The themes of books are always centered on a specific aspect of Indian Culture. The Academy has published two valuable books till now. As many as 10 books are awaiting publication.

The Spell of Mahabharata

The Spell of Mahabharata is a compilation of 22 research articles based on various aspects of Mahabharata. Fomous writers like Sri Manoj Das, famous Sanskrit scholars like S. Sundar Rajan, Prof. Alekh Chandra Sadangi, Prof. Brajakishor Swain, Prof. Raghunath Panda, Prof. Radha Madhav Dash, Prof. Puspa Dixit, Prof. Sulok Sundar Mohanty,Prof. Suryamani Ratha etc. have contributed their valuable articles for the book. 13 articles out of 22 are written in English. Eight papers are in Sanskrit. One paper is in Hindi. Maharsi Charaka: (ISBN-978-81-921704-0-4)

'Maharsi Charaka' is jointly published by the Academy of Yoga and Oriental Studies and CCRAS, Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India, New Delhi. It is a compilation of 33 research articles contered on Maharsi Charaka the great Indian physician. Serious Research Scholars like Prof. Satya Pal Naranga, Swami Mahamedhananda Nath Saraswati, Prof. Braja Kishor Swain, Prof. B.N.Das, Prof. Vinod Kumar Joshi and others have contributed their valuabl articles for the volume. Some of the articles are 'Charaka and Homeopathy','Ayurveda and the Charaka Samhita', 'Theory of Dosa with Special Reference to Charaka Samhita',' Concept of Ojas in Charaka Samhita', 'Concept of Longevity in Charaka Samhita','Time of Charaka' etc. Out of 33 articles 25 articles are in English and the rest in Sanskrit.
